Superintendent of Construction

$220,000/year About the Opportunity We're seeking a seasoned Superintendent of Construction to join the team behind the Midtown Port Authority Bus Terminal Redevelopmenta multi-year, high-profile infrastructure project that will reshape the future of urban mobility in New York City. In this leadership role, you'll oversee on-site construction operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all phases of the build. You'll coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with design and contract requirementsall while working alongside a collaborative team of engineers, project managers, and field professionals. Key Responsibilities
Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedule and budget. Plan and coordinate daily operations, including subcontractor scheduling and logistics. Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and project specifications. Optimize use of materials, labor, and equipment for maximum efficiency. Provide technical guidance on construction methods and drawing interpretation. Assist in developing project schedules and site logistics plans. Support and enforce the Site Specific Safety Plan. Coordinate with on-site owner representatives and stakeholders. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership. What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 10+ years of experience on large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects ($100M+). Proven track record as a superintendent or craft supervisor on complex builds involving piles, concrete, and structural steel. Familiarity with City, State, and Federal Government clients. Strong knowledge of contract management and local trades/unions. Preferred Skills & Certifications
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, and HCSS Heavy Bid. OSHA and First Aid certifications. Experience in bridge, roadway, or major civil infrastructure construction. Strong subcontractor management and communication skills. Work Environment

Salary Range: $170,000
