Brake Press Operator
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the fabrication department supporting precision sheet metal production. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Brake Press Operator Location: St. Charles, MO Pay Range: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift (6 AM - 3 PM, Monday to Friday) What's the Job? Set up and operate press brake machines for sheet metal fabrication. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine bending sequences. Adjust machine settings including speed, angle, and pressure for accurate bends. Select appropriate tooling and materials for production runs. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards. What's Needed? Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating brake press machines. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings. Experience with CNC brake press programming is preferred. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, protractors). Strong math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. What's in it for me?
