Operations Manager & Housing Assistance Program Supervisor
We are seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Operations Manager & Housing Assistance Program Supervisor to lead our internal operations and oversee our housing support services for refugee and immigrant clients. This position ensures the smooth functioning of our office while directly supporting vulnerable individuals and families in securing safe, stable housing. Key Responsibilities
Operations Management Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for staff and clients. Responsible for operations of all CWS leased temporary housing including tenant agreements, maintenance, etc. Supervise administrative staff, including reception, office assistants, and volunteers. Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and the office landlord, including lease compliance and facility maintenance. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve organizational efficiency and compliance. Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, purchasing, and expense tracking. Support HR functions such as onboarding, training, and staff development. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security protocols. Housing Assistance Program Supervision Lead the Housing Assistance Program, including client intake, eligibility screening, case management, and housing placement. Manage temporary housing facilities, including tracking client time in each location and ensuring that policies are followed. Supervise housing program staff and volunteers, providing training, support, and performance evaluations. Build and maintain relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and community partners to expand housing opportunities. Ensure program compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as grant requirements. Track program outcomes and prepare reports for funders, board members, and stakeholders. Advocate for clients facing housing discrimination or barriers due to immigration status or language access. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in nonprofit operations or program management, preferably in refugee or immigrant services. At least 2 years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership and team supervision skills. Knowledge of housing systems, case management practices, and immigrant/refugee resettlement processes. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client database systems. Preferred Skills
Bilingual or multilingual (especially in Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Spanish, French, or Kreyol) strongly preferred. Experience with trauma-informed care and culturally responsive service delivery. Familiarity with HUD, ESG, or other housing-related funding sources. Special Requirements
