Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Job Summary: Responsible for the assessment and delivery of counseling services to patients receiving mental health and/or addiction services. May provide evaluation to the Emergency Room/medical units for referred patients to BHU. Provides therapy and case management services including assessment, individual, family and group therapy, family psychoeducation and discharge planning. Essential Duties: Assess the behavioral health needs of patients referred for treatment of mental health or addiction services. Assess, communicate and document risks related to potential harm to self or others. Provide a psychosocial assessment. Participate and implement discharge planning. Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy. Implement intervention techniques. Qualifications
License/Certifications: Oregon LCSW or CSWA with one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting (LCSW licensure required within 2 years) Experience: Two (2) years experience in evaluation and clinical intervention with a mental health population preferred Education: Masters in Social Work Overview
