Senior Manufacturing Technician
Senior Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for the manufacturing of quality medical devices and research products that are safe and effective. This position will also maintain process controls and lead their own team of employees. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Science and the manufacturing process and can support the strategic and operational objectives of the business. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality. Essential Job Functions: Manufactures products in accordance processing batch records using manual and semi-automated equipment Utilizes measuring instruments such as pH meters, temperature and humidity probes Maintains and calibrates equipment as needed. Keep work area cleaned and well organized. Inspect work area upon arrival and departure for proper safety and eGMP housekeeping. Accurately completes batch records and associated documentation Troubleshoots equipment and process problems Prepares production schedules and maintains product inventories Supports process development, validation and design transfer activities Performs process trending and data analysis and prepares technical reports and investigations Capable of supervising a small team of manufacturing technicians Verify processing data and conduct processing checks Initiate, recommend and provide solutions through designated channels. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Education, Experience and Certification: Bachelor's degree in a science related field Detail oriented and self-motivated Solid written, verbal communication and collaborative skills Efficient, organized and strong ability to work independently Ability to adhere to SOPs Previous medical device, pharmaceutical or clean room experience is a plus, but not required Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
