Site Inspector
As a Site Inspector, you'll conduct on-site evaluations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components with a focus on identifying energy efficiency opportunities. You'll perform diagnostic tests such as blower door assessments and combustion analysis, then document findings in detailed audit reports and scopes of work for retrofit projects. Your role includes monitoring contractor work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with codes, while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with clients and installation crews. You'll also participate in training sessions to stay current with industry standards and technologies. Skills and Requirements: Strong understanding of lighting, electrical, HVAC, and building systems. Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). OSHA 10 certification or higher. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends. Experience working with construction and trade professionals. Knowledge of mechanical and building codes. Prior work in energy efficiency or weatherization programs. Comfortable accessing attics and crawlspaces during inspections.
