Junior Estimator
Our client is a growing construction company that has been in business for nearly a decade. With a current team of around 10 and annual revenues between $8M-$12M, they specialize in a mix of commercial and luxury residential projects, with residential builds typically ranging from $1M to $5M. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a skilled Junior Estimator who's ready to step up and take ownership of the estimating function. Job Description
Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, budgets, and estimates for residential and commercial projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare cost estimates. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors during the preconstruction phase. Maintain and update estimating databases and templates. Assist with value engineering and cost-saving strategies. Support project handoffs from estimating to construction. Contribute to internal process improvements as the company scales. Requirements 3-6 years of estimating experience in residential or commercial construction. Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership. Experience in both residential and commercial construction is a plus. What's on Offer
