Healthcare Screening Shuttle Driver
The Healthcare Screening Shuttle driver position is to safely transport hospital employees to and from designated areas and community events where preventative healthcare screenings will take place. The Shuttle Driver will always provide exceptional service, care and safety and will ensure the vehicle is maintained and meets company standards and brand representation. This position will also work in the parking operation onsite on campus. Responsibilities
Always maintain safety standards while transporting employees to and from community screening events. Maintain a welcoming and service-oriented demeanor that is care and safety driven. Ensure that the vehicle meets all safety requirements and is up to date with the maintenance schedule. Follow all traffic signs/laws and maintain posted speed limits. Ensure each passenger has a positive experience. Ensure all issues get resolved in a timely manner. Always Extend the Exceptional Care philosophy. Inform and relay all necessary information in a clear and concise, professional way to Managers and passengers. Years of Experience: 6 Months Professional Driving Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and written Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Licenses Required: CDL Class B Certificates Required: Updated Medical Certificate; DPU Certification Requirements: Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English Sit for long periods Walk short distances Possess the manual ability to operate a Shuttle bus safely Currently holds a valid Driver's License in state of residency Strong sense of customer service Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Be at least 18 years of age Be able and willing to smile during every customer interaction with passengers Maintain uniform standards while around the account Pass a criminal background check and drug test, and complete occupational health requirements Driving record must meet company standards Ability to successfully pass company issued driving test Ability to create relationships with customers Time management & problem-solving skills VPNE is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation or national origin.
