We provide customers with products and solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Service & Repair. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the district. Duties include general clerical, receptionist, customer service/purchasing duties and project-based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Responsibilities: Field incoming calls and transfer to appropriate associate, answer all routine and non-routine questions, or take messages and direct to appropriate contact. Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, reports etc. utilizing Microsoft Office. Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel, food orders and department activities for members of the Savage location. Greeting visitors at the front desk and making sure they sign in and out of the visitor logbook. This also requires you to contact the associate(s) they are visiting. Purchasing supplies for production shop & warehouse when required. Stocking breakroom & conference room supplies daily. Managing office supply inventory and ordering as supplies as needed. Sort through and distribute mail for various departments daily. Confirm if any voicemails were received and direct them to the appropriate person via email or follow up verbally. Set up and run reports within Trend system when requested/as required. Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects. Very experienced in Microsoft Office programs, internet, high importance on skill level of Excel Work with production scheduler to build up work order packets with assembly drawings and labels daily. Other various duties to be jointly determined as required. Maintains stable performance and emotional control when faced with opposition, pressure, and/or stressful conditions. General Education and Experience: Education High school diploma/GED required, associate's degree preferred. Experience 1-3 years of administrative support with the demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Previous experience in self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
