Are you interested in a co-op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) or masters (MS) degree to participate in 6 month co-op opportunities at our site in Cambridge, MA. Responsibilities include: Provide Mechanical Engineering support for the development of next generation Intra-cardiac Echocardiography (ICE) ultrasound imaging transducers Participate in the development of new tooling and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks Set up and execute experimental evaluation of material designs and fabrication processes Work alongside a multidiscipline group of engineers ranging from mechanical, electrical, materials, acoustic, system, and software engineers Deep-dive into real engineering problems and learn to implement products through the engineering design process You're the right fit if: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering A strong team player (Social skills, collaboration, and teamwork are all integral to a successful product) Knowledge and understanding of Solidworks (part, assembly, and drawing skillset) An independent, self-sufficient, and responsible student You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. 28 an hour: Master's Level: $30

45 an hour plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future. Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA. This requisition is expected to stay active for 45 days but may close earlier if a successful candidate is selected or business necessity dictates.
