Tubing Fabrication & Assembly Support Associate
The Tubing Fabrication & Assembly Support Associate at the Hooksett facility will work collaboratively on the Tubing team to produce tubing assemblies for various engine lines. As an integral part of GE Aviation's global Supply Chain network, we focus on quality, delivery, and cost by driving lean execution and continuous improvement. In this role, the associate will begin to learn manufacturing and production operations through the performance of mechanical clean, chemical etch marking, hydrostatic testing and application of wear sleeves. In addition, they will perform a variety of tasks to support other operators and the overall business including but not limited to: Cleaning and 5S (workplace organization) of shop areas Staging fixtures and jobs Replenishing consumable material stations Managing central fixture storage system Administrative and clerical tasks within Production Control, Quality, Lean or Engineering Performing related environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, continuous improvement, and production-flow job duties to support manufacturing-related initiatives and programs Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Desired Characteristics: Strong communication skills Highly motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
