Our total compensation package includes: Industry-competitive salaries Annual bonuses paid consistently for over 10 years Dollar-for-dollar match up to 6% in our 401K, with an additional 3% automatically contributed by INEOS Medical, dental, and vision coverage Separate short-term disability and vacation programs 9/80 work schedule option Wellness programs and gym access at each site Educational reimbursement and mentorship programs Role Overview Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst will configure payroll, absence, and time tracking systems, perform accounting tasks, ensure payroll compliance, and manage unemployment claims for US sites. The role involves collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams in HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Legal. Our Payroll/Benefits/HCM team is diverse and innovative, committed to enhancing payroll processes and delivering impactful strategies. You will work closely with this team and enjoy a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Support payroll operations across US business units Configure and maintain Workday and related HRIS/HCM systems Develop and trace system logic, coding, and configurations Evaluate impact of system updates and changes Create documentation, workflows, and training materials Identify root causes of payroll/system errors Stay updated on industry trends and system updates, recommending improvements Manage wage attachments, tax lock-ins, and data files Perform payroll pre-notes, reconciliation, and reporting Coordinate unemployment claims and quarterly tax filings Audit wages and taxes, resolve invoice discrepancies Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations Support HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams as needed Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelors degree from an accredited institution Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing Strong knowledge of payroll, absence, and time tracking processes Experience with system implementation and maintenance, ideally Workday Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities FPC or CPP certification is a plus Skills & Competencies Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts) Problem-solving using data analytics Experience with data reporting and analysis Self-motivated and curious Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition Effective team communication and collaboration skills Knowledge in tax compliance, wage attachments, and payroll configuration Reliable in following through on commitments Physical Requirements Mostly sitting (70-100%) Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds Infrequent stairs, bending, stooping, and reaching Close visual acuity for data analysis and reading No significant environmental hazards Must maintain alertness and concentration, free from impairing substances Our culture emphasizes honesty, integrity, safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
