Position Summary: The Utility Line position requires the team member to rotate through a physically demanding line & perform repetitive hand movements in all workstations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned: Ability to remove WOG from the Deli Line and inspect WOG for proper stringing. Ability to adjust the strings as needed for final trussing. Ability to grab Truss and stretch it over the WOGs back and around the two hocks of the WOG. Ability to place WOG breast-up on the big belt once WOG has been properly trussed. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Ability to grasp WOGs wing tips and tuck them under and behind the back side of bird. Ability to identify and remove one leg from the shackle whenever downgraded product is identified. Ability to place a truss string around both wings on the backside of the WOG. Place an insert into box if required. Weigh boxes for appropriate weight. Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns Ability to observe all bags for immediate defects such as but not limited to holes and foreign material. Ability to label boxes with correct label of product running and ensure label is correctly placed on boxes. Ability to place boxes under product chutes and ensure the placement of product cases are within box guides. Ability to open the chute by pressing the red button; WOGs should drop one by one into the box. Ability to remove case from conveyor onto a skate conveyor for further prepping. Ability to inspect product box for damages on the case, liner, and/or label. Ability to prepare box for CVP machine by lifting liner, folding box flaps, and aligning box underneath the CVP machine. Ability to activate CVP machine, inspect liner, and ensure the liner is properly sealed. Ability to align the case onto the output conveyor and send towards the taper machine. Perform other duties as assigned. Expectations

Ability to deal with problem involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees) Ability to stand and use hands for 8 to 10 hours per shift Ability to multitask and work quickly Must be a team player and be willing to work close to other employees in some situations Must have good communication skills Capable of learning and remembering product specifications. Good hand eye coordination required High School diploma or G.E.D preferred Intermediate Analytical Skills preferred Basic computer skills or strong willingness to learn preferred Food production experience preferred Desire for continuous improvement preferred EOE, including disability/vets
