We are looking for you to join our team as an Inspector 3 based out of San Diego, CA. What you'll get to do: Inspect hardware following assembly instructions and engineering drawings Verify specifications using assembly instructions, engineering drawings and parts lists, inspection instructions, and checklists Make pass/fail decisions on inspected goods Maintain records of results Use SAP Quality System to record and manage receiving inspection results Use a shop floor system to record and manage production floor inspection results Responsible to assure documentation represents "As Is / Should Be" requirements Documents nonconformance's in SAP and/or the shop floor system in use by the program Basic qualifications: High school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience Certified IPC J-STD-001 standard Experience in defect reporting using SAP, Solumina and MES Experience using calibrated measuring tools Experience reading mechanical drawings Experience lifting 40 lbs. from cart to table, walking, bending, and sitting for long periods of time The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance US Citizenship required Preferred qualifications: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Experience using computer based MRP and shop floor control databases Experience with procurement RMA process Experience with ESD/FOD/Tool Control practices Experience with DFARS counterfeit part prevention requirements Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications What we can offer you: Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Salary range: $54,400.00 - $90,600.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
