Machine Operator
Work in a facility dedicated to manufacturing sugar spheres for pharmaceutical companies. These spheres are crucial components in the creation of drug capsules, emphasizing quality and safety in production. Responsibilities
Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. Rotate between two different rooms within the plant weekly to experience a variety of work. Monitor stations involved in the process of creating 'suglets', which are small sugar spheres made by mixing sugar, starch, and water. Perform simple calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and document conditions at each step of the process. Engage in daily tasks involving sugar such as weighing, sampling, batching, and monitoring equipment that produces products. Utilize forklifts to move products around the plant. Essential Skills
Mechanical skills Experience in packaging and machine operation Knowledge of GMP regulations Ability to perform production, labeling, and inspection tasks Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma 1+ years of previous manufacturing experience in a GMP environment 1+ years of experience following SOPs Ability to lift 50lbs up to ten times a day Preferred experience in GMP and forklift operations Successful backgrounds include CNC machinists, bio diesel technicians, chemical process operators, and technical operators from food plants Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
