Logistics Center Coordinator
Logistics Center Coordinator (LCC) will manage the Truck Logistics Center located in Westlake, LA for CUSTOMER. The center will be staffed and functioning 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The LCC will manage the inbound and outbound traffic for the facility that will come through the logistics center alongside with operations personnel to optimize truck load/unload time. LCC will ensure truck drivers have the appropriate paperwork and equipment to enter the site. The LCC will not inspect the inside of the cab, or under the truck/trailer. That will continue to be the duty of the CUSTOMERs Security department. Job Responsibilities LCC will review/confirm driver shipping paperwork at the Logistics Center. If the truck is not on the loading/unloading schedule, to have the driver contact their dispatcher to resolve. LCC will complete equipment checklist prior to trucks entering the facility. If equipment does not meet standards, reject truck, and identify cause. LCC will communicate effectively with CUSTOMER'S Operations to ensure trucks report to the loading/unloading area and take timely actions to address transportations issues/problems, especially any paperwork issues that may arise. If there is a problem, LCC will contact the appropriate CUSTOMER supervisor if it is a plant issue or the service provider if it is a truck issue LCC will complete Inbound empty truck check in process. LCC will validate driver identification, confirm shipping paperwork and trailer matches our records, customer location and delivery time product to be loaded. LCC will complete truck cargo/equipment inspection as required. LCC will provide proper paperwork to truck drivers: LCC will coordinate truck arrival with Operations before allowing the truck to enter facility. LCC will ensure shipping paperwork matches the GOSI (loading) system. LCC will direct truck drivers to the old main guard gate for east side loading or to the main guard gate for west side location scale and loading locations For "EO/MEG, New Alcohol and ETO 4/5, and Guerbet" units: LCC will complete Inbound loaded bulk liquid truck check in process for Sasol and LIP LCC will ensure shipping paperwork matches computer system: LCC will validate driver identification, confirm shipping paperwork and trailer matches our records (Supplier, product, PO number, receiving Unit and contact). Verify driver has COA for inbound materials. LCC will complete truck cargo/equipment inspection

LCC will take actions to resolve any issues when problems arise. LCC will answer incoming calls; give directions, handle questions and or direct to appropriate area/person. LCC will contact carriers if truck misses the requested arrival time and advise Operations of the schedule change. LCC will log information if a caller (i.e. dispatcher, driver) reports that they will deliver the truck after the requested delivery time and notify per procedures. LCC will collect delivery information - Customer name, location, BOL number, delivery date/time, expected delivery date/time, reason. LCC will address any revisions with trucks on daily basis (cancellations, add ons, modifications) need to be addressed by shift, and if questions arise bring it up to a supervisor. SAP work (Truck and Rail): LCC will review Truck Bol's from previous day, resolve issues and upload Truck BOL's to LKC-Finance on Teams (including Alumina bag sheets). LCC will enter Truck BOL's info into SAP (Pay attention to kg calculations). Double check the math even though it shows as done on the BOL. (N) LCC will PGI Truck BOL's by 10:00AM LCC will print Truck Sales Orders and STO's for completed BOL's (N) LCC will send Truck documents out via Subscriptions (N) LCC will enter West Side Truck Management (EO/MEG, LIP), enter Driver Info, Time In / Time Out into SNA Tracking for all processed trucks, out-process Trucks that come from GUERBET, ETO 4&5 and 078. LCC will prepare truck paperwork / issue loading schedule. Prepare cargo Bill of Lading (BOL) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) / Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for outgoing bulk loads. LCC will print daily truck schedules for Operations and have it readily available when trucks arrive at the facility. LCC will mail loading schedules to the lab at 6 pm daily. LCC will do weekend duty tasks. LCC will calculate and enter Ethylene Rail BOL's data into SAP. LCC will EDI 1200 railcar shipments for current day. LCC will email Ethylene BOL & COA's subscriptions to customers and file the bills. LCC will manually bill some LAB cars (Mexico). Rail Logistics support (Daily): LCC will update the 801 when notified by RJ Corman - LCC will verify and update. If there are cars not identified, send an email, and include cars that are TBD to lkc-traffic. LCC will update the Bad Order R/C report in Teams &update in RCX and Transload with deficiencies and repairs daily. If not done, the CUSTOMER will relay to next shift. LCC will monitor email traffic for Railroad billing errors - CONTRACTOR will correct error. LCC will handle any changes needed with rail that happen (unit needs a car, off spec issues, tank bound, re-spots, etc) - nights and weekends. LCC will print Railcar Loading Schedule/Railcar COA's & distribute to Schedulers (from email) that comes in around 5 am (East and West Lab) From printer get Rail & Truck pending - place on Schedulers desk. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Must pass an employment and criminal background check, drug screening, Pre-employment physical, and functional ability test. English skills must be proficient in understanding, reading, writing, and speaking English. Basic computer skills. Must be able to work 12-hour variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, twist, climb, grasp, and lift a maximum of 55 lbs.
