Chief Nursing Officer
Formulate and oversee the organization's planning, policies, and practices in collaboration with executive leadership as the Ministry Market's COO and as the Chief Nursing Officer lead the Hospital's senior management team in planning, directing, and coordinating operations to achieve the health ministry's mission, strategic directives and goals. Participate in development of the organization's vision, policies, and short- and long-term objectives. Collaborate with hospital leadership and medical staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, procedures, and practice standards for the nursing departments. Develop, implement, and monitor operating budgets for areas of responsibility. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and recommend cost effective and efficient solutions. Develop and implement a program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care provided by the organization. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare. Serve as liaison between Board of Directors, executive leadership, management, stakeholders, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies. Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management. OR 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
