Location: Marysville, Washington, United States Position Type: Permanent Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: First experience Language Requirement: English Fluent Salary: $21.00 hourly Job Summary: Responsible for executing the defined Strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with Quality functional leadership. Provides quality assurance support and participates in continuous improvement activities. Executes the Quality Assurance strategy to ensure product flow consistent with established industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements. Summary of Duties: Investigate and eliminate causes of quality problems and follow up on corrective actions. Provide support in the way of supplier development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, analysis of out-of-control conditions and process audits. Support the Supply Chain Management organization relative to the collection and analysis of supplier quality data providing expertise and assists suppliers with product and process quality requirements. Execute the development, implementation, and improvement of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation, providing advanced quality planning support in the development and launch of new products, processes and services. Participate in the design, procurement, maintenance, and evaluation of gages, measurement instruments, devices and test equipment. Support Inspection activities to assure proper processes are being followed. Job Requirements: Level 1 Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma Experience: Less than 2 years Computer Skills: Proficient with Windows Operating System Other Skills: Thorough understanding of problem solving methods, i.e. 8D and the associated statistical tools used to analyze problems, evaluate and complete improvement projects. Knowledge of and understanding of Supplier Quality Assurance. Knowledge of industry quality guidelines (i.e. ISO9001, AS9100, etc.) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets a bonus.
