At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow. Join us! The Refine Processor will be responsible for internal and external precious metal refines processes. Responsibilities include: participation in the receipt of customer and internal scrap comparing contents with advised weights and descriptions. The electric induction and gas melting of scrap when necessary for sampling and/or granulation for refining. Operates all equipment in sweeps preparation area including incinerator, ball mills, hammer mills, screen, blenders etc. Preparation and documentation of samples for the assay lab. Organization and documentation for accumulated scrap material in storage for further disposition and inventory control. Requirements include: high school diploma and/or GED. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Pay range: $21.50 - $30.00. Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
