The Program Manager for Cyber/MS owns coordination of cross-functional workstreams for key initiatives in Cybersecurity, building Cybersecurity Product Management functionality, where Products are Services. This Role was standardized as part of the Portfolio & Practice Release & Readiness Team, bringing consistency and rigor to Program delivery. This position would drive Program execution across platform development, service delivery, and go-to-market teams, ensuring strategic initiatives achieve their objectives on time and within scope. The Program Manager supports rhythm of business, internal alignment, and initiative documentation across platform and product verticals. Major Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end program management for strategic cybersecurity services initiatives from conception through launch. Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across engineering, product management, sales, and service delivery to ensure aligned execution and timely delivery. Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies using project management tools and methodologies. Facilitate program governance including steering committees, stakeholder reviews, and executive briefings, while maintaining program documentation and reporting standards. Identify and resolve program impediments through proactive issue management, escalation, and change management support. Drive adoption of PMO best practices and standardized processes across cybersecurity initiatives. Collaborate with Services Product Managers to align program delivery with product roadmaps and launch timelines. Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and program delivery capabilities. Technology/Area of Specialization: Strong understanding of cybersecurity landscape including SOC operations, MDR services, and security platforms. Knowledge of services delivery models and operational frameworks. Expertise in program management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST) and their impact on service delivery. Understanding of cloud security architectures and zero-trust principles. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet. Basic Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent program management skills with ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Strong communication and facilitation skills for diverse technical and business audiences. Analytical thinking to assess program risks, dependencies, and critical paths. Leadership presence to drive results without direct authority over team members. Problem-solving orientation with focus on removing obstacles and enabling team success. Organizational excellence to manage multiple concurrent programs effectively. Adaptability to navigate changing priorities in dynamic business environment. Technical acumen to understand cybersecurity concepts and engage with engineering teams. Required Skills: 5-7 years of program management experience with focus on technology initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; PMP certification preferred. Demonstrated experience managing cybersecurity or IT security programs. Track record of successful delivery of complex, cross-functional programs. Proficiency with project management tools and agile methodologies. Experience with services or SaaS delivery models. Strong stakeholder management skills including executive communication. Understanding of software development lifecycle and technical delivery processes.
