Auto Auction Lot Security Officer
Hiring Event! Thursday 8/14/2024 11:00am to 1:00pm Manheim Auto Auction 730 Rt 68 (Take Nade Rd turn off) Bordentown, NJ Park by the Flag pole and cross the bridge to the office. Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour What We're Looking For: Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Be the friendly face and first point of contact. Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is essential. Proficient Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge required. Physical Endurance: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Flexibility: Must be available for weekend shifts. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain. Handle Physical Demands: Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. SORA CARD or able to obtain. Logistics styles positions involving truck gate operations: ID check, license plate and serial number review. Comfortable doing Mobile and foot patrol. With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents. Prepares logs and reports as required. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. Minimum Hiring Standards: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone). Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private) with a clean motor vehicle record! Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
