Essential Responsibilities
Monitor drivers time worked and document any exceptions to help aid with timesheet entry Check in with shuttle manager & dispatcher to communicate all concerns. Ensure drivers on the shift consistently meet company standards and follow policies under the direction of the Shuttle Manager (uniforms, etc) Help arrange for coverage when drivers call in sick or are out on vacation Communicate any changes during the shift using the radio system to drivers When needed, provide backup coverage for drivers Assist in organizing drivers and shuttles for special events Conduct driver audits Greet passengers as the enter & exit the shuttles Take over operation of a shuttle in case of an emergency or last minute call out. Additional tasks as requested by manager or director Proficiencies
Communicate respectfully with employees Microsoft Office experience Able to motivate and provide constructive feedback to employees Function independently within company guidelines Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the shift, but does not directly manage any of the employees. Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Sit or stand for long periods of time while maintaining focus Spend some of the workday looking at a computer screen Use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines Position Type & Hours
Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Later evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Alterations to working hours are made as needed to meet business needs. Education, Certification, and Experience
Possess a valid driver's license CDL with Passenger Endorsement, DPU card, and DOT medical card preferred At least 3 years of work experience in the transportation industry Former supervisory experience Strong aptitude for problem solving Must be proactive, positive, and responsive.
