Material Coordinator
CACI is currently seeking a Material Coordinator. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is based at our Melbourne, FL facility. Responsibilities: Track materials throughout the production lifecycle Create manufacturing orders and purchase requests for consumables and inventory to support material planning Support the non-conformance process, including associated material transactions Monitor production inventory levels and assist with inventory audits Participate in daily production stand-up meetings Close manufacturing orders and deliver completed parts to the stockroom Validate that manufacturing documentation matches the as-built configuration Respond to emergency parts requests and provide on-call support as needed Collaborate with receiving inspection to process incoming parts Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications: US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirements 3 years' experience working in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, production, or materials planning environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience using an ERP system such as Costpoint Experience working in material handling or as a production coordinator in the aerospace or defense industry. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
