The Supervised Visitation Driver will transport and deliver individuals and/or products to specific locations. Schedule transportation for Supervised Visitation Services, maintain the visitation calendar, and transport clients to and from supervised visits and group classes. Provide assistance to passengers in and out of the vehicle. Assure vehicle is safe and ready for transporting. Assure car seats are properly installed and compliant with New York State's regulations. Report any service needs. Provide quality customer service to clients. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle. Maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures. This position is based on a 35-hour per work week, with occasional evening and weekend hours required. Pay is $20/hour. Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. with 1 year of relevant experience. Experience working with children preferred. Licenses/Certificate/Clearances: Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License/State Central Registry Clearance Skills and Abilities: Customer Service Skills. Oral & Written Communication Skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: Mobility sufficient to drive to client's homes and/or community facilities which may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals.
