Fabricator/Welder
Responsible for assembling structural metal products using tools, machines, and their own hands. Fabricates various types of products. Job Duties
Fabricate and weld metal components based on specifications and blueprints Operate power tools, press brake machine, micrometer, and hand tools to shape and cut metal Use cranes to lift and position materials Interpret schematics and technical drawings to determine welding requirements Perform Mig, FCAW, and other welding techniques to join metal parts Conduct inspections to ensure welded components meet quality standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time Requirements
Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role Proficiency in using power tools, press brake machine, micrometer, and hand tools Familiarity with crane operation and safety protocols Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong knowledge of stick welding, FCAW, pipe threading, and other welding techniques Mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal fabrication processes Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy materials Qualifications
Education: HS Diploma or GED Equivalent; two or more years of work related experience To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
