Maintenance Technician
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will work on industrial baking equipment, performing preventive maintenance and addressing breakdowns of various machinery including mixers, ovens, chillers, conveyors, packaging equipment, and more. Utilize your skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards. Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance and address breakdowns of industrial baking equipment. Utilize volt meters to detect electrical issues with equipment. Read and reset HMI's to diagnose problems. Interpret VFD's and troubleshoot related issues. Tear down and re-assemble machines as needed. Document activities in the maintenance log. Work on electrical components including HMIs, VFD's, PLCs, and perform mechanical tasks on sprockets, gears, shafts, and bearings. Handle automation tasks involving sensors and photo eyes. Maintain and repair vertical baggers, cartoners, ink jet printers, and packaging equipment. Manage bulk flour systems including transfer blowers, air-locks, and valves. Fill out daily log reports, emergency breakdown reports, and work orders. Communicate effectively with incoming shifts. Perform repairs and upgrades to ensure proper machinery operation. Support installation and acceptance of new electro-mechanical equipment. Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies, metal detectors, and scales. Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test instruments. Fabricate guards using measuring devices, cutting tools, and welding equipment. Install electronic parts and hardware using soldering equipment and hand tools. Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment. Essential Skills
3-5 years of electrical and mechanical experience. Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues using a volt meter. Experience in swapping, repairing, and wiring motors. GMP experience. Bilingual in Spanish. Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting. Boiler (steam) maintenance experience. Welding - Stick and Tig experience. Bakery experience. Why Work Here?

This position involves working on a rotating 6-day schedule across 48 hours a week, with shifts starting at 6 AM or 9:30 PM depending on the assigned production line. You will work across all four buildings on site, moving between them as needed. The work environment is hot due to the nature of the bakery, so comfort with higher temperatures is necessary. Initially, wear a t-shirt and jeans, with a uniform provided after 90 days. Pay and Benefits
