Litigation Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Litigation/Arbitration and Third Party Subpoena teams by managing case files, conducting research, and overseeing document production tasks. This position requires collaboration with various business units to gather essential information across diverse systems and software, ensuring effective matter management from initiation to closure. Responsibilities: Assisting with arbitration and litigation matters including setting up file, research, document productions, bates stamping of documents, discovery requests (motions and subpoenas), review of documents produced and received (index document productions) Collaborating with other LPL Business Units while utilizing a variety of systems and software to obtain documents/information pertinent to the matter Assist with matter management, including tracking, setting up file, and seeing the file through response and closure Prepare reports on matter statistics and trends Team with paralegals, support specialists and attorneys on development of policies and procedures. Provide general administrative support to team of attorneys and paralegals including coordinating travel, handling expense reports and document management Open and close Third-Party Subpoena matters Retrieve and scan Third-Party Subpoena incoming mail Monitor incoming checks received for Third-Party Subpoenas, log and re-route to accounting per guidelines What are we looking for? Requirements: 2 years experience interpreting and communicating legal subject matter in clear and concise terms Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and aptitude to quickly learn new systems Exceptional analytical skills Exceptional communication including strong oral, drafting and writing skills Strong organizational skills and experience with report generation tools and data analysis Pay Range: $21.96-$36.60/hour Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
