The core responsibility of the Field Support Technician is to conduct in-home customer visits for the purpose of measuring space and providing the job site survey for custom cabinetry while providing exceptional customer service. Pay rate: $28-$32 per hour. Schedule is M-F 7:00 to 3:30 pm. Duties and Responsibilities: Assess design against on-site specifications and report any necessary design change requirements to team members (Designers, Manufacturing, Install Team) Coordinate with our Design Consultants to provide concise measurements, photographs and data for the purposes of sale & design of custom project. Assist Design Consultant to pick up files and samples (hardware/finish samples) from the office for the measure purposes, as needed Conduct a re-measurement of project re-designs, as needed Create copies of CAD design when jobsite errors are found and indicate specification detail to support the designer with the necessary information to complete design revisions if necessary. Review proposal (CAD drawings) specifications to determine the projects' scope of work identify possible challenges in installation of the job. Perform job-site surveys and create job-site plans for the installation team and communicate installation direction and expectations Qualifications: 2+ years of experience construction, millwork industry related materials and hardware, and/or in the home renovations/improvement industry Millwork estimating experience preferred 1+ years of experience in the construction industry with knowledge of the installation practices for customized cabinetry solutions Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn and apply various business systems (CAD, Epicor, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, etc.) Proficient in math (i.e Fractions and unit measurements) Ability to provide an exceptional client experience aligned to the company values
