St. Anthony's Resource Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, conveniently located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, offers a comprehensive range of outpatient rehabilitation services for adults and adolescents. Our highly skilled acute therapy team specializes in sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical limitations and other conditions affecting mobility and quality of life. We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Physical Therapist with specialized training in pelvic health to join our outpatient team. The Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist will assess and treat individuals experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, helping them restore function, alleviate pain, and improve quality of life through evidence-based interventions. Pelvic Physical Therapist Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Treat a variety of conditions including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, postpartum recovery, diastasis recti, and sexual dysfunction. Provide care for diverse populations including women, men, and non-binary individuals across the lifespan. Educate patients on pelvic floor anatomy, proper body mechanics, behavioral modifications, and home exercise programs. Collaborate with referring providers, OB/GYNs, urologists, gastroenterologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with clinic, insurance, and legal standards. Stay current with continuing education in pelvic health and contribute to the development of best practices within the clinic.
