Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Nicu And Pediatric Acute Care Center (Pacc)
Hourly Pay Range: $43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Nicu And Pediatric Acute Care Center (Pacc) Location: Arlington Heights, IL Full Time/Part time: Full time, 40 hours/week Hours: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday Required Travel: No What You Will Do: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. This includes knowledge of the physical and psychological needs of patients served and the ability to respond appropriately to those needs. Regularly performs duties of professional nurse which includes assessing patients' condition, developing, and administrating patient plan of care, documenting care administered, and evaluating patient care outcomes. Assists in overseeing and directing specific unit personnel to ensure effective, cost efficient and safe provision of nursing care in accordance with established standards. Serves as resource person for patient care personnel and aids in resolving questions related to policies, standards, and patient care techniques and procedures. Regularly assesses patient satisfaction, investigating and interviewing for immediate complaints or problems. Demonstrates problem solving, conflict management, and customer services skills to serve as role model and change agent for corporate and unit based initiatives. Serves as or ensures appropriate preceptor support for new employees. Coaches current employees according to assessed needs. Monitors compliance with regulatory agency standards e.g., CLIA, the Joint Commission, IDPH. Reinforces need to comply with National Patient Safety Goals. Performs or coordinates assigned audits. Oversees provision of adequate supplies and equipment to provide appropriate patient care. Follows up on repairs/maintenance of equipment as needed What You Will Need: Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in nursing required from an accredited nursing school Current State of Illinois RN licensure Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association Certification in Specialty Minimum three years of experience in an applicable clinical setting with proven leadership skills Previous experience as charge nurse/team leader Benefits: Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
