Bell Attendant
The Bell Attendant is a central part of the Guest Services Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience. Greets all incoming visitors with a smile and friendly attitude. Assists guests with luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, transports guests and hotel packages and parcels. Valets guest vehicles. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high-profile department carries a special responsibility. The Bell Stand is also the natural place where guests' direct comments, questions, suggestions, and concerns. What you will do: Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Valet guest vehicles in the garage and retrieve them when requested. Maintains proper records of stored luggage, package deliveries and pick-ups in compliance with Four Seasons Standards. Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Helps resolve customer complaints, assists guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Will complete any tasks of a Doorman, Bellman, Valet Driver or House Car Attendant. Greet all guests with a smile and offer them assistance. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Performs duties related to guests and residents' seasonal equipment storage or delivery of ski equipment and mountain bike and related gear. Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off the hotel property. Ability to use computer systems such as Opera, HotSOS and MS Excel. What you bring: Minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar role, in a luxury hotel setting preferred. Possession of a current US driver's license and proof of clean driving record. Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles including manual transmissions required. The ability to multi-task on several items at once. Must be able to stand/walk for up to eight hours per shift. The ability to move luggage carts weighing up to 200lbs as well as the ability to lift and carry boxes up to 100lbs required. This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity. Flexible schedule required for AM and PM shifts. Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
