people. As a Wastewater Maintenance Technician, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services
uninterrupted. Based in Jackson, MS, you'll become an expert on the building systems that support our client's operations and keep their people safe. You'll grow your expertise to help your team succeed in the safe and time-critical operation, maintenance, and repair of mission-essential equipment and components including mechanical, electrical, and general commercial and industrial facilities systems. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in our client's facilities. 1 year related commercial and industrial maintenance experience Varied electrical and mechanical experience Proven understanding of system components and theory Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and equipment drawings Physical ability to walk project sites and work outdoors under varying weather conditions Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Valid US driver's license with no major infractions Ideally, you'll also have: Trade school or technical program diploma Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Safety is a core value at Jacobs. Due to the nature of the job passing a pre-employment physical is required to ensure candidates for this position are physically and functionally fit to perform the essential physical work functions of this safety sensitive position without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of themselves or others. The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, airborne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact. Posted Salary Range

The base salary range for this position is $37,200.00 to $48,300.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
