BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our outstanding and compassionate team. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for: Responsible to provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs Records and documents vital signs, patient weight and height Performs non-intravenous injections Assists with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals Obtains information required for meaningful use. Conducts face to face visits, handles medical service-related telephone calls Monitors and maintains inventory and equipment Travel required to various program sites Performs other duties as assigned Required Certification/Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) - FL Driver's License Required Education: High School or Equivalent Preferred Experience: 1 year
