Experienced Driver/Material Handler Needed
Schedule: Wed-Sat 7am-7pm Location: Ballston Spa, NY 12020 Rate of Pay: $20/hr. Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Processing:
Unload trucks and check incoming shipments against orders Inspect received items for damage and accuracy Process and store products in appropriate locations within the warehouse
Order Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick customer orders from storage Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipping Ensure that all orders are complete and accurately labeled
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies Replenish stock as needed
Equipment Operation:
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment Follow safety protocols to ensure safe operation of all machinery
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Clean Driver's license DOT Certification Ability to operate a delivery vehicle Data Entry Proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks Basic computer skills; familiarity with SAP warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team is a MUST!
