Radiologic Technologist PRN
Desert Radiology is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist. The X-Ray Tech performs radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician (which may include DEXA scans). Performs related technical and/or administrative duties. Follows established techniques and methods in operating equipment and processing images. Ensures technical quality of images and exercises judgment in processing assigned work load. Desired Professional Skills and Experience: Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration (or must be registry-eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment in technologist position) Knowledge of basic radiologic methods and techniques such as chest, upper and lower gastrointestinal, fluoroscopic, and skeletal procedures normally acquired through completion of a twenty-four-month radiologic technology training program.
