Payroll Processor
to join our client in Florham Park, NJ. In this role, youll be responsible for managing and processing payroll for a book of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior payroll experience who takes pride in accuracy, understands the importance of confidentiality, and enjoys client interaction. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process payroll for a portfolio of client accounts on a recurring basis Enter and verify data such as hours worked, tax information, benefits, and deductions Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations Build strong client relationships through excellent phone and email communication Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues quickly and professionally Stay current with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll services What We're Looking For: Previous experience processing payroll, preferably in a multi-client or service bureau environment Excellent data entry skills with a strong eye for detail and accuracy High degree of confidentiality, integrity, and trustworthiness Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-service-oriented phone manner Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or similar systems Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing Seniority level
