Job Summary: The

Credit Bureau Dispute Specialist

will research and resolve direct and indirect credit bureau disputes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and credit industry standards. This role requires handling sensitive consumer data, utilizing specialized systems such as

e-OSCAR , and delivering timely, accurate dispute resolutions while supporting a high-volume back-office banking environment. Key Responsibilities:

Research direct and indirect credit bureau disputes, responding to customers and credit reporting agencies. Handle sensitive consumer information including credit bureau data, PII, and customer account details. Use third-party data sources and internal systems to verify and correct credit reporting information. Respond to disputes received by mail or email. Utilize

e-OSCAR

to process Automated Consumer Dispute Verification (ACDV) cases quickly and accurately. Review feedback from credit bureaus, internal reports, and third parties to ensure accurate account reporting. Document dispute resolutions in internal systems and e-OSCAR. Stay current on internal credit-related policies, procedures, federal regulations, and industry standards.

Required Experience:

2-5 years in administrative or clerical roles, ideally within banking. Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Prior use of e-OSCAR and knowledge of credit reporting processes.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

Experience handling sensitive PII in a regulated environment. Credit bureau dispute resolution in a financial services setting. Exposure to high-volume, deadline-driven operations.
