Head Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach
Rye Country Day School is seeking a Head Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach beginning February 23, 2026. Rye Country Day Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. We are actively committed to creating and sustaining a school community that is nurturing, supportive, diverse, and inclusive, one in which all students can participate fully and achieve their maximum potential through academic, athletic, creative, and social endeavors. We expect and promote moral responsibility and strive to develop strength of character within a respectful school community. Specific responsibilities of the position include: effectively planning and organizing both practices and competition calendars, teaching and training a team of beginners through advanced level lacrosse athletes, creating an inclusive, exciting, and challenging environment each day, collaborating with the assistant coaches in planning and communication, working with the Director of Athletics to hire Assistant Coaches when necessary, maintaining a safe environment at all times, communicating with athletes, parents, coaches, and opponents in a professional manner, and attend Spring Trip. Desired qualifications: minimum of 3-years successful high school boys lacrosse coaching, a passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes, excellent written and verbal communication skills, commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community, energetic and enthusiastic, flexible and patient.
