Intermediate Architect For Bergen Green Housing Project

We are seeking a talented architectural staff member to join our team for the Bergen Green Housing project, a ground-up 120,000 sq ft, 11-story multifamily building. The role involves designing interior public spaces and apartment interiors, contributing to a mission-driven design that reflects socially conscious and culturally significant projects. Responsibilities: Design and coordinate the interior public spaces and apartment interiors for multifamily residential buildings. Collaborate with the design team and landscape architect on exterior public spaces and plot plans. Select furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and create schedules for them. Design and coordinate reflecting ceiling plans and lighting selections. Review specification books and ensure adherence to design standards. Communicate effectively with clients and consultants, and attend project meetings. Essential Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. 6+ years of professional experience in architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino. Experience working on affordable housing multi-family residential buildings. Strong knowledge of NYC building and zoning codes. Experience in schematic design and construction documents. Ability to work on new construction projects or large-scale renovations. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with Revit. Knowledge of hospitality, core & shell, and renovation projects. Work Environment: The position is based in a 5-person office. Employees will work four days in the office and one day remotely from home. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
