We're looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Manager of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to join the Growth Marketing team at Good Inside. In this role, you'll take ownership of paid search strategy and execution across Google, Bing, and other relevant platforms, helping drive efficient subscription and revenue growth. You'll be the go-to expert on all things SEMfrom campaign setup to bid strategies and keyword optimizationbringing both analytical rigor and creative thinking to a high-impact channel. Hybrid opportunity with 3x days a week in our New York, NY Office Reports to: Director of Growth What You'll Own
Lead the end-to-end execution of paid search campaigns across Google, Bing, and other engines with a focus on customer acquisition, efficiency, and lifetime value. Own campaign builds, keyword expansion, ad copy development, A/B testing, and budget pacingthis is a hands-on-keyboard role. Manage campaign operations through Google Ads/SA360, ensuring automation and optimizations are driving performance at scale. Monitor daily performance and make proactive, data-informed adjustments to drive ROI and meet customer acquisition cost (CAC) targets. Develop SEM reporting dashboards in partnership with Analytics; analyze performance trends and communicate insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with Lifecycle, Creative, and Product teams to align SEM efforts with broader marketing strategies and optimize the full funnel. Stay on top of search platform updates, competitor strategies, and emerging best practicesproactively testing and applying new learnings. Support forecasting and scenario planning across paid search, working closely with the Director of Growth Marketing. Partner with and own agency relationships SEO/AI knowledge a plus Your Skills & Experience
3-5 years of hands-on paid search experience with a proven track record of managing efficient, scalable SEM programs. Expert in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Search Ads 360 (SA360); additional experience with Apple Search, YouTube, or display is a plus. Strong analytical mindset; fluent in Excel/Google Sheets, and able to derive insights from performance data. Experience with Amplitude, Mode or similar Deep understanding of SEM bidding models, attribution, and optimization tactics. Experience managing toward acquisition and efficiency metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV:CAC). Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience in a startup, DTC subscription, or performance-driven environment preferred. Passion for Good Inside's mission and a genuine desire to help parents feel supported and empowered.
