The State of Hawai'i is offering various positions with competitive salaries ranging from $5,369 to $6,535 per month (SR-22, Step D to I). These vacancies are located in Downtown, specifically within the Department of Law Enforcement and the Department of Accounting and General Services. Hiring rates will depend on the availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications, and other relevant factors. Positions in this occupational field involve supervising, performing, or providing staff leadership, guidance, and assistance in the management analysis functions. Level IV positions analyze, evaluate, develop, and recommend sound organization, efficient administrative policies, and practices for large departmental field offices and interrelated organizational units covering administrative and staff functions. To qualify, you must meet all the following requirements: Legal Authorization to Work: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government to be citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. Basic Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. General Experience: Six (6) months of professional work involving the analysis and evaluation of managerial policies, systems, methods, and practices in the development and/or improvement of the same. Specialized Experience: Two (2) years of professional management analysis experience; viz., experience in conducting organizational analyses, work measurement/methods studies, management information systems design and evaluation, and management surveys to identify problem areas and develop recommendations for improving the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of a given operation through the proper application of sound methods, principles, and practices of management. Some positions may require a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
