Develop and maintain quality control standards, policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in accordance with AS9100. Lead and mentor a team of quality technicians and inspectors. Collaborate with production, engineering and sales departments to identify and address quality related issues and develop effective solutions. Help conduct thorough inspections and audits of products/services at various stages to identify defects, deviations or non-conformities. Communicate with customers to ensure all aspect of quality are being met. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence. Maintain documentation for quality control processes. Including inspection records, quality metrics, and compliance documentation. Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of operations. Proven experience in quality assurance roles within a CNC precision manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of QMS (AS9100 and ISO 9001) and an expert within the aerospace industry. Strong GD&T experience. Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints. Detail oriented mindset. Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross functional across teams. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to conduct root cause and CAPA. Knowledge of SPC and experience with quality management software. CMM programming experience. Experience with inspection techniques and equipment. What's on Offer
