Administrative Coordinator
Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Coordinator to support the Dental department with complex administrative tasks and workflow coordination. This role operates under general direction and plays a key part in planning, organizing, and executing administrative functions, while also guiding clerical staff and contributing to strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate workflow and oversee administrative and clerical staff to ensure efficient operations. Plan and organize departmental conferences and meetings. Provide high-level administrative support, including drafting presentations and correspondence. Review and recommend improvements to administrative procedures and practices. Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance. Analyze complex information requests and identify trends. Develop reports and communications for department leadership. Perform all duties of a Senior Administrative Assistant and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications:
Proven experience in GME Residency Programs preferred. Credentialling experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. High school diploma or equivalent or associates degree. Five years experience in an increasingly responsible administrative support role required. Ability to perform advanced functions in word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and database software. Working knowledge of accounting and financial principles and functions. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal. Act 33 with renewal. Act 34 with renewal.
