BW Filling & Closing is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to generate and close viable opportunities within the North American Dairy and Food Markets. In this role, you'll be responsible for selling highly engineered forming, filling & closing equipment, services, conversions, and upgrades. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute market plans in alignment with strategic roadmaps for the BWFC TFFS & FS indexing, continuous motion, and rotary product lines. Network with legacy and targeted growth customers & suppliers in the North American Dairy and Food Markets to identify industry trends and generate opportunities. Maintain an accurate top line sales forecast and competitive information files through the effective utilization of MS Dynamics 365 database. Communicate customer requirements, specifications, applications, etc. so accurate and timely sales proposals can be produced as needed. Provide customers with post-sale support to ensure satisfaction with purchase; ensure customer grievances are channeled through the proper department for optimal and timely resolution by acting as a liaison between the customer and various internal functions to increase the likelihood of future sales. Promote the availability of BWFC company services (such as spare parts, change parts and field service) along with the overall Divisional Barry-Wehmiller Packaging capabilities. Keep abreast of competitive and customer activity along with customer needs and communicate information to the appropriate individuals within the company, so strategic decisions can be made to increase the company's competitive edge in the marketplace. Establishes and maintains a professional corporate image consistent with the company mission and values as demonstrated through your internal & external communications, personal behavior, during all customer interactions, and while attending work sponsored events. Performs all commitments/tasks in a timely and professional manner. Performs other duties/responsibilities as required. Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Previous experience working with a capital equipment manufacturer. Professional acumen, appearance, and superior presentation skills. Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. Ability to read CAD drawings and technical customer specification documents. A broad knowledge base of automation applications and technologies. Demonstrated ability to sell at the highest levels of Fortune 500 companies.
