! Schedule Commitment Works a year-round, GAP schedule, averaging 20-30 hours per week. With a varied daytime, evening, and weekend schedule with additional hours as requested for WWTPC activities, events, and tournaments. Pickleball Instructor:
We are seeking a Pickleball Instructor with availability for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday shifts. Monday:
Teach Pickleball Academy (Intro to Pickleball) from 7:30 PM
8:30 PM. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday:
Facilitate Open Play sessions from 9:00 AM
12:00 PM. Tennis Instructor:
We are looking for a Tennis Instructor with availability for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday shifts, from January to May or on a continuous basis. Tuesday & Thursday:
Instruct Orange Ball, Yellow Ball, and Adult classes from 5:15 PM
9:00 PM. Saturday:
Teach Red Ball and Orange Ball classes for children 10 and under from 8:45 AM
12:00 PM. Join our team and share your passion for tennis and pickleball with players of all ages and skill levels! Pay Plan:
Tennis/Pickleball Instructors are non-exempt, non-benefitted, GAP positions with hourly assignment pay. $15.00- Off Court $20.00- Group Lesson $20.00- Non-Certified Private Lesson $40.00- Certified Private Lesson Candidate Engagement Plan:

Experience: Must be at least 16 years of age or possess a High School Diploma/GED. Tennis Instructor:
Minimum of 3 years of tennis playing experience. Pickleball Instructor:
Minimum of 1 year of pickleball playing experience. Experience participating in high school, college, tournaments, leagues, or related events. CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire (City of Coppell will assist). Certification Rate Pay Eligibility: Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA) Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Pickleball Coaching International (PCI) Other recognized certifications for tennis/pickleball Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of tennis and pickleball gameplay, including proper stroke fundamentals and on-court techniques. General knowledge of RSPA leagues, tournaments, and special events (preferred). Awareness of tennis and/or pickleball techniques, strategies, and gameplay fundamentals. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to feed balls consistently and maintain a rally during lessons. High energy and teamwork skills to work collaboratively in a group environment. Punctuality and reliability in delivering lessons and maintaining equipment. Abilities: Demonstrates patience and a coaching-focused approach to teaching individuals of all skill levels, including beginners. Inspires and shares passion for tennis and pickleball with others. Effectively manages time and responsibilities to ensure quality instruction and participant engagement. This is Coppell
