Therapist Position
Looking to join a great team of healthcare professionals in a growing hospital? Palm Point is currently recruiting for a Therapist. The Therapist is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, working with patients who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The Therapist completes individual patient assessments and provides individual and group therapy as required. Therapists will communicate with collateral contacts, schools, and outpatient providers. The Director of Admissions is responsible for the administrative and clinical supervision of the admission/intake process, including effective utilization of the nursing and therapeutic processes. To provide quality care, establish standards of practice, provide effective fiscal management, and provide holistic assessments to establish the client's need and provide appropriate treatment based on the need whether it is to provide referral sources or admission to the facility. Ensures quality assessments to determine the client's need, appropriate referral sources provided based on need as well as appropriate admissions in compliance with the regulatory and the facility's policies and procedures. Provides leadership in maintaining standards of profession in the admissions area. Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Qualifications: Job Requirements: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related behavioral health discipline required. A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management. LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, LMHC, or LMHCI preferred.
