As a VP or Director of Sales & Commercial, you will lead the global sales strategy, set a clear vision, and deliver year-on-year revenue and margin growth. You will oversee contract negotiations, pricing models, and bid processes to ensure every deal is commercially sound and strategically valuable. Your role involves identifying and penetrating new markets, channels, and strategic customer segments. You will develop trusted partnerships with customers, distributors, and partners, and become a visible and respected industry leader. Collaborating across departments like Operations, R&D, Finance, and Marketing, you will align customer promises with operational capability. Additionally, you will build, coach, and retain a world-class sales and commercial team with a performance-driven, customer-first culture. Lead the global sales strategy to achieve year-on-year revenue and margin growth. Oversee contract negotiations, pricing models, and bid processes. Identify and penetrate new markets, channels, and strategic customer segments. Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with customers, distributors, and partners. Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Finance, and Marketing departments to ensure alignment. Build, coach, and retain a high-performing sales and commercial team. Sales and sales management expertise. Knowledge of sales processes, especially in medical or plastics industries. Experience in negotiation, cold calling, account management, and CRM. Ability to forecast sales growth and plan sales strategies. National sales experience and leadership skills. Proven track record of senior commercial leadership in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial B2B. Expertise in closing high-value, complex contracts with global customers. Strategic mindset with analytical, data-led decision-making skills. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and influencing skills. Experience building and leading diverse, high-performing teams across regions. Ability to operate at board level and engage with customers when needed. Degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA desirable). 10+ years in senior sales/commercial roles, including 5+ years in executive positions. This is a fully remote position, preferably for candidates in Eastern and Central Time Zones. The role requires the ability to communicate with leadership based in London and involves travel as needed. The pay range for this position is $180000.00/yr.
