Inventory Control Associate
assists the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) in maintaining overall store inventory control. They ensure all inbound and outbound inventory activity is accurate, the sales floor is fully stocked, and inventory procedures are followed. Responsibilities include verifying merchandise deliveries, preparing merchandise for sale, placing EAS tags, inputting freight information, executing RTVs, orders, transfers, markdowns, maintaining stock room organization, and adhering to all policies and laws. Responsibilities include: Fostering a service and selling culture to build customer relationships. Processing all inventory with accuracy. Verifying merchandise deliveries comply with standards. Preparing merchandise for the sales floor with proper signage and tagging. Ensuring timely and accurate data entry for freight and inventory movements. Executing RTVs, orders, transfers, markdowns efficiently and in compliance with policies. Maintaining productivity and stock room organization. Adhering to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Performing additional duties as assigned, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork. Additional details:
