This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Cashiers ensure accurate cash handling, maintain cleanliness at their station, and contribute to a smooth guest experience throughout the festival.This is a seasonal part-time role and will be open from July 22, 2025 to October 22, 2025.This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00, plus tips.This position will remain open until October 22, 2025.Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitudeAccurately process cash, credit, and mobile paymentsMaintain an organized and clean workstationFollow all cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) proceduresCommunicate menu items, pricing, and promotions clearly to customersVerify age for alcohol purchases when applicableAssist in restocking inventory as neededReport equipment issues or guest concerns to supervisors promptlyAdhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesSupport team members in ensuring smooth operations during peak hoursMust be at least 18 years oldPrevious cashier or customer service experience preferredAbility to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weatherBasic math skills and comfort with POS systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, punctual, and team-orientedFlexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and eveningsMust pass any required background checks or training (e.g., TABC or food handler certification if applicable)At OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
