FTE: 0% Work Shift: Variable Pay Range: $30.89 - $45.57 Union: UFCW 3000-Professional and Technical Shift Differentials/Premiums: Weekend & Holiday Shifts: Yes, On Call Shifts: Yes Evening Shift Differential: $3.00/hour Night Shift Differential: $5.00/hour Weekend Premium: $4.50/hour Standby Premium: $4.00/hour Per Diem Premium: 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits) Certification Premium: $2.00/hour Job Description
Assists in the care and preparation of the surgical patient. Functions as a member of the surgical team creating and maintaining a sterile field. Knowledgeable about instruments, supplies and equipment used during a surgical procedure. Understands the procedure being performed and has the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs. Provides care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Education
Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. Experience
Minimum one-year recent surgical experience preferred. Licensure/Credentials
Current Washington State registration as a Surgical Technologist. Current national certification as a Surgical Technologist. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Union
